Hybrid HVOF Coating System
Perfect for Small Production Parts or Job Shop Repairs!
This system sprays any material with quality comparable to the very best HVOF production system, at about half the spray rate; but, it is about one-fourth the cost.
It is normally air-cooled. A water-cooled air cap, which is included, is designed to use city water at 40 psi. No booster pump is needed.
This special hybrid system enables higher particle velocities than a standard system, which produces the higher bond strength, and the very low porosity of the finished coating.
The system is very portable. It can be placed in
any vehicle and taken on site.
You need Oxygen, plus fuel gasses (Liquid
Propane, Propane, Propylene, or Natural Gas),
plus compressed air.
Set-up is quick, 15-20 minutes.
The weight of the gun is only 3 lbs.
An ON/OFF switch on the gun operates the
powder feeder.
The Powder Feeder works on the volumetric powder feed principal. It is accurate and simple to operate.
The gas flow meter and digital powder feed rate meter are in the controller. You can control the powder feed rate very precisely by controlling the powder wheel from 0.5 rpm to 15 rpm.
This system has a high deposition efficiency and spray rate. It produces high bond strength coatings, which are extremely dense, and resistant to oxidation, wear, and corrosion.
